Spa Attendant Job Description

A Spa Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and smooth operation of a spa facility while providing exceptional customer service to guests. They welcome clients, prepare treatment rooms, replenish towels and spa supplies, maintain locker rooms and relaxation areas, and ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and inviting. Spa Attendants assist guests with appointments, answer questions about spa services and amenities, and support therapists and other spa staff by preparing equipment and treatment areas. They also monitor inventory, report maintenance issues, and ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards. Their role is essential in creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience for every guest.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Prepare treatment rooms before and after appointments.
  • Clean and maintain spa facilities, locker rooms, and relaxation areas.
  • Replenish towels, toiletries, and other spa supplies.
  • Assist guests with appointments and answer general inquiries.
  • Support spa therapists by preparing equipment and treatment areas.
  • Monitor inventory and report maintenance or supply needs.
  • Follow health, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.

Important Skills:
A successful Spa Attendant should have excellent customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, organizational and time management abilities, and a friendly, professional attitude. Physical stamina, teamwork, reliability, problem-solving skills, knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices, and the ability to maintain a calm and welcoming environment are also essential for delivering an outstanding spa experience.

Salary: 17.00 hourly / 10 to 25 hours per week
