About the Company
Clickworker is a German technology company founded in 2005 and headquartered in Essen, Germany. It is a publicly registered and fully legitimate microtask platform that has been paying workers consistently for over two decades. With more than 8 million registered contributors worldwide, Clickworker acts as a middleman between large companies that need human intelligence for digital tasks and freelancers around the world who complete those tasks for pay. The platform has paid out over €100 million to its global workforce and maintains transparent payment policies that make it one of the most trustworthy microtask platforms available today. Major clients include Microsoft, through a partnership platform called UHRS, which gives Clickworker workers access to some of the highest paying tasks on the platform.
What You Will Do
As a Microtask Worker on Clickworker, you will complete a variety of short digital tasks that require human judgment and basic computer skills. These tasks include writing and proofreading short texts, categorizing products and web content, tagging and describing images, completing surveys and questionnaires, testing websites and mobile applications for usability, recording short voice clips, translating simple sentences between languages, and rating search results and advertisements for relevance and quality. The most valuable tasks come through UHRS, which is Microsoft’s internal Human Relevance System. UHRS tasks involve evaluating search engine results, comparing AI responses, and rating the quality of online content, and they pay significantly more than standard microtasks. You work entirely on your own schedule with no minimum hours required.
Requirements
No prior experience is required to sign up and start basic tasks. However, to access the higher paying UHRS tasks, you must pass a series of qualification assessments inside your Clickworker dashboard. These include an English proficiency test and a UHRS registration assessment. You need a computer or laptop running Microsoft Edge browser specifically for UHRS tasks, a stable internet connection, basic English reading and writing skills, and strong attention to detail. You must be at least 18 years old and provide identity verification documents before your first payout is processed.
Salary and Pay
Standard Clickworker microtasks pay between $2 and $9 per hour, which is modest but accessible for beginners. However, once you qualify for UHRS tasks, your earning potential rises significantly to between $12 and $20 per hour, with some specialized tasks paying above $25 per hour. Consistent workers who focus exclusively on UHRS tasks report earning between $200 and $500 per month. Payments are processed every week on a fixed schedule via PayPal, Payoneer, or direct bank transfer, as long as you have met the minimum payout threshold of $10. Funds typically arrive within one to two business days after processing.
How to Apply
Go directly to clickworker .com and click the “Become a Clickworker” button on the homepage. Fill in your registration form with your name, email address, country, and languages you speak, then verify your email to activate your account. Once inside your dashboard, immediately navigate to the Assessments section and complete every available qualification test, starting with the English proficiency test and the UHRS registration test, as these unlock the highest paying tasks. Do not skip the assessments or delay completing them, because your access to better work depends entirely on your assessment scores. The registration process takes about 20 to 30 minutes, and you can begin attempting assessments immediately after signing up.
