Farm worker, general needed in Canada by Jared McNary Ranch
A general farm worker performs a variety of manual and routine tasks to support the daily operations of a farm, including planting, cultivating, harvesting crops, and caring for livestock.
Main Responsibilities
- Plant, water, cultivate, and harvest crops.
- Feed, water, and care for livestock and poultry.
- Clean and maintain barns, pens, fields, and farm buildings.
- Operate and maintain basic farm tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Load, unload, sort, and pack farm produce.
- Assist with fencing, irrigation, and other farm maintenance tasks.
- Monitor crops and animals for signs of disease or damage and report issues.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and biosecurity procedures.
