Nail Care Technician Job Description

A Nail Care Technician, also known as a Nail Technician, provides professional nail care services to help clients maintain healthy and attractive fingernails and toenails. They perform manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, cuticle care, nail polishing, gel and acrylic nail applications, nail art, and other cosmetic nail treatments. Nail Care Technicians assess the condition of clients’ nails, recommend suitable treatments and products, and maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment by sterilizing tools and following health regulations. They also educate clients on proper nail care, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive salon experience. They typically work in beauty salons, spas, wellness centers, or operate as independent professionals.
