Medical Receptionist Job Description
A Medical Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk operations of a healthcare facility while providing excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals. They greet patients, schedule appointments, answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate patient records. Medical Receptionists verify patient information, process registrations, handle billing and insurance documentation, and coordinate communication between patients and medical staff. They also ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and complying with healthcare privacy regulations. Their role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of medical clinics, hospitals, and healthcare centers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Register patients and maintain accurate medical records.

- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
