A freelance content writer is needed by ProWriterSites
About the Company
ProWriterSites is a remote company that creates professional portfolio websites and hosting services for freelancers. The company is looking for a freelance content writer to help shape its brand voice and create content that speaks to freelancers who want to grow their careers and improve their online presence. The role is listed as remote and open to applicants from anywhere in the world.
Job Type and Work Arrangement
This is a contract freelance role, not an immediate permanent staff position. You can work remotely with flexible hours, meaning the company does not list fixed daily working hours. However, you will be expected to meet writing deadlines and deliver good-quality work consistently. The company says it may later bring a strong writer into a full-time copywriting position.
The listing was posted seven days ago and gives an application deadline of July 22, 2026. It was still displayed as open when I checked today, June 29, 2026.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibility will be writing and editing content for ProWriterSites’ website and marketing channels. This can include website pages, blog posts, email campaigns and social-media content. You will be expected to write in a way that helps freelancers understand the company’s service, trust the brand and feel encouraged to build a stronger online portfolio.
You may also work with the company’s marketing and design team to develop campaign ideas, research industry trends, improve content strategy and ensure all written content is clear, accurate and consistent. You will need to proofread your work carefully before submitting it.
Skills and Requirements
You do not need programming or advanced technical knowledge, but this job is best for someone who already writes very well in English. The company prefers applicants with a portfolio showing different types of writing, such as blogs, websites, emails, social-media captions or marketing copy. Strong grammar, spelling, creativity and attention to detail are important. Familiarity with freelancers’ needs and the freelance industry will also help your application.
Salary and Benefits
The company says it intends to pay $75 to $80 per hour or per project for freelance work. If your work is strong and the company decides to offer you a permanent role later, the expected full-time salary range is $75,000 to $100,000 per year. The listing also mentions possible performance-based bonuses, flexible hours, creative freedom and opportunities for growth.
Apply through ProWriterSites’ own application form, not by email.
- Open the official Content Writer Role application page from ProWriterSites. The form asks for your full name, email address, country location, résumé, work sample or portfolio link, and a short “Tell Us About Yourself” section.
- In “Upload Your Resume,” attach your CV as a PDF. Make sure it shows any writing work, social-media content, blog writing, website copy, email writing, customer communication, or marketing experience.
- In “Upload Work Example” or “Link To Work Example,” add 2–4 strong samples. These can be:
- A blog post you wrote
- Website content
- Social-media captions for a business
- An email campaign
- A Google Drive folder containing your samples
- In “Tell Us About Yourself,” write briefly about your writing ability, the type of content you have written, and why you understand freelancers or online businesses. Include the word “EXCEED” naturally in your response, because the job post specifically requests it to show that you read the full listing.
- Review your information, then click Submit. The company says it may only reply to applicants it is seriously considering, so do not worry if you do not receive an instant response.
