Residential Cleaner Job Description
A Residential Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining private homes to ensure they are clean, sanitary, organized, and comfortable for residents. They perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, washing windows, making beds, doing laundry, and emptying trash bins. Residential Cleaners use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to maintain high hygiene standards while handling clients’ belongings with care and respect. They may also replenish household supplies, report maintenance issues, and follow specific cleaning instructions provided by homeowners. Their goal is to create a safe, healthy, and welcoming living environment through thorough and reliable cleaning services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop floors, and dust furniture.
- Make beds and change linens when required.
- Wash windows, mirrors, and other surfaces.
- Perform laundry and ironing duties if requested.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Replenish household cleaning supplies and toiletries.
- Follow homeowner instructions and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Important Skills:
A successful Residential Cleaner should have excellent attention to detail, good time management and organizational skills, physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work independently. Salary: 21.00 to 27.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 20 to 35 hours per week
Minimum wage: Minimum wage is guaranteed
Terms of employment: Permanent employmentPart time leading to full time
Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, 08:30 to 16:30
