Chief buyer – Retail or Wholesale needed in Canada by Lyonleaf Cannabis Inc
A chief buyer (retail or wholesale) is responsible for planning, selecting, and purchasing products for a retail store or wholesale business to ensure the right products are available at the best quality, price, and quantity.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop purchasing strategies based on market demand and business goals.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Select and purchase products for resale.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms.
- Analyze sales trends and customer demand to make purchasing decisions.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and budget requirements.
- Supervise purchasing staff and maintain supplier relationships.
