Restaurant cashier needed in Canada by Mary Brown’s
A restaurant cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, processing orders, and providing friendly customer service in a restaurant.
Main Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take food orders.
- Process cash, card, and other payment methods accurately.
- Issue receipts and provide the correct change.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Answer customer questions about the menu, prices, and promotions.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are correct.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
