A Video Editor and Visual Content Creator is Needed by Deshapeables

Deshapeables is currently hiring a Video Editor and Visual Content Creator for a full-time remote position. The opportunity is open to qualified applicants in Nigeria who are creative, skilled in video editing, and able to produce engaging visual content for social media and digital marketing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and editing videos, graphics and other visual materials for Deshapeables and Deshapeables Tradefair. This role is suitable for someone who understands how to make content that captures attention quickly, especially short-form videos designed for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and similar digital channels.

Applicants should be confident using professional editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. The company is looking for someone with experience editing both videos and images, as well as the ability to turn simple ideas, raw clips or product information into visually attractive content.

A strong sense of storytelling is important for this role. The ideal candidate should understand how to arrange clips, add text, use transitions, select music where appropriate and create visuals that communicate the message of a brand clearly. Candidates should also be able to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain a consistent visual style across different types of content.

Interested applicants are expected to provide a portfolio showing their previous work. The company specifically requests links to at least five videos personally edited by the applicant. This means applicants should prepare their strongest examples, preferably including short social-media videos, product videos, promotional content, lifestyle edits or other work that demonstrates creativity and technical editing ability.

Deshapeables is an international weight-loss, shapewear and fashion brand founded in 2018. The company operates in Nigeria and also has a registered entity in the United Kingdom. The Video Editor and Visual Content Creator will support the company’s visual communication by helping to create content that promotes its products, campaigns and brand activities.

The recruitment notice lists a monthly salary of ₦200,000, which is approximately $145 USD per month based on the exchange rate at the time of publication.
