Fish-Processing Plant Worker Job Description

A Fish-Processing Plant Worker is responsible for preparing, processing, packaging, and inspecting fish and seafood products in a processing facility. Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean, cut, fillet, trim, and prepare fish and seafood products.
  • Sort, inspect, and package seafood according to quality standards.
  • Operate fish-processing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Label, weigh, and prepare products for storage or shipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitize equipment and work areas.
  • Remove defective or damaged products during processing.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Assist with loading, storage, and inventory handling as required.
