Plumber helper needed in Canada for Boss Plumbing
A plumber helper assists licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems by preparing tools and materials, performing basic plumbing tasks, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems.
- Carry, organize, and prepare tools, equipment, and materials.
- Cut, measure, and assemble pipes under supervision.
- Help inspect plumbing systems and identify basic issues.
- Clean work areas and remove debris after completing jobs.
- Load and unload plumbing materials and equipment.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by the supervising plumber.

Tasks

- Read blueprints to determine work requirements
- Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
