Farm Supervisor Job Description

A Farm Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a farm to ensure crops and livestock are managed efficiently and production goals are achieved. They supervise farm workers, assign daily tasks, monitor farming activities, and ensure all work is carried out according to safety, quality, and environmental standards. Farm Supervisors coordinate planting, irrigation, fertilization, harvesting, animal care, and equipment maintenance while monitoring productivity and resource usage. They also maintain farm records, manage inventory, inspect crops and livestock for health issues, and work closely with farm managers or owners to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
